HEALTH 

This program is locally initiated by PENDO LA MAMA Initiative “love of a mother”. It’s a purely women Initiative at the grassroots level, basically in enhancing community women needs and capacity building with on spot information. These are:

a) Community Vaccination 

The intention of the above vital venture is to protect community young mothers against cervical & breast cancer especially under the age of 29 years old. Phanicey is also aligned itself with the global campaign of cervical vaccination under 10 years of age.

b) Mosquito nets

This program targets once more community young mothers with children below 2 years. The emphasis is on protecting them against mosquito bites that cause Malaria attacks that are in essential sense number one killer in children below 2 years.

c) Sanitary pads

Phanicey Foundation in partnership with Live Health Initiative is sponsoring a modern cost effective approach towards sanitation during menstrual periods amongst the Community going school girls.

This program is tailored through enhanced capacity building to community women self help groups (SHG’s) on how to manufacture re-usable sanitary towels, as both need cost free effect and income earning venture.
